I liked how everything was neatly labeled two thumbs up 🤓, enjoyed the shopping music also. Polite and friendly helpful staff. I found a lovely suitcase and some Valentine items.

The workers are so nice all the time!

So I used to work for this place for a year when I was in high school. It was the worst experience of my life. That was back in 1998 and I thought it still can't be that bad, but it is. There are alot of the same faces there today as there was when I worked there. The place is not very clean and things have no real place inside the store, their annex yard is still a huge mess and finding what you need is a pain. I can't really speak on the food bank as I never worked there or have ever needed their services. Their prices are totally random, not at all based on the value of the objects but rather completely made up by a drunk guy named Rodger (well that is who was doing it when I worked there and I have seen him around there a couple times still). Will you ever find a gem there? Most likely not as the staff in the back steal anything worth real value that has not been seen by the management. Not kidding about that either, when I was there we picked up a shipment of brand new shoes from Macy's and alot of the employees in the back got new shoes. While I respect what they are trying to do there there is alot of bad things that go on behind the scenes. Like they let me at age 18 drive around their forklifts with no training or certification. I actually ended up running over a customer because I was not trained at all on how to operate one. They sent me to hazardous waste with liquid chemicals in the back of an old pickup truck, these chemicals were stored in mason jars with plastic wrap and rubber bands for lids. When I was turned away cause of improper containers it spilled all over the back of the truck and they made me clean it up with no type of hazmat anything. I got light headed and passed out, later that night I was taken to the hospital and told not to work the next day which Rodger called me at home and threatened to fire me if I did not show up, I had to have my Dr call them and basically tell them that they should be thanking their stars for me not suing them. I would have given this place one star but there are a handful of good people there who try and do the best job they can given the conditions. All in all it is a terrible place to shop and donate and even worse if you actually work there.

Vinny's is the best thrift store in the area, hands down. I make the drive from the north end of the county for their ever changing selection, reasonable pricing and friendly people.

Super friendly employees and so reasonably priced how a thrift store should be
