LOVE The Crochet Crowd!!! I wish I lived closer to Nova Scotia so I could visit Mikey and Dan. I’d love it if I was one of their “in real life” friends. Through their site I have learned so much about crochet! I was using single and double stitches for every project before I happened to bump into one of Mikey’s videos. What a revelation!!! Now I can tackle most any stitch as long as he’s there to explain. Oh...and I can read patterns now and use a diagram too!!! So much education from such a wonderful caring sweet man who truly loves his craft and his thousands of followers! Love you Mikey!!

The Crochet Crowd is the best place to learn all about the world of crochet. Mikey, Diva Dan and all of the team are just wonderful, warm, and welcoming people. Their talents and giving hearts are out of this world. I have learned so much from watching their videos and have laughed at their antics. They offer their project patterns for FREE!! Just awesome people!! Everyday, I look to see what new project pattern is available and I always look for a new video!! I love the videos of just stitching, answering questions or just chatting. Love this place and these folks!!

Michael of the crochet crowd is one of the best instructors in the industry that I have found. He is very thorough and his tutorials have just the right amount of humor and education. I highly recommend The Crochet Crowd (and often do) to anyone who wants to learn from the best instructors out there! The fact that you can get such high quality instruction for free is just icing on the cake!

Hands down, this is the best site to have for crochet needs. The patterns and tutorials are as first class as they can get. Mikey always has something new happening. There are more free patterns than anyone could do in a lifetime, in a wide variety of needs. From fashion, afghans, to toys. It’s an incredible selection. If you have never picked up a crochet hook, if you are left handed, or if you have crocheted for 50 years, then these are the tutorials you want. Always something to learn.

It’s a beautiful atmosphere that lends a helping hand to get the creative juices flowing. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and inclusive no matter your fibre or craft choice. Many laughs are always had over tea and yarn and sometimes a few tears when comforting a new found friend. Thank you Mikey and Daniel for creating a space that is both safe and fun for people to gather and explore their creative side. It’s a lovely addition to the Valley and I will definitely be known as a regular there. I started out as a knitter, however, slowly but surely Mikey has converted me to be a crocheter too.
