I was staying here and sitting in the dining area near the shelter office. Bunch of us could overhear Nicole and Andrea in the office, making fun of and laughing at various clients behind their back.... One of those two women is in charge of the shelter, the other is in charge of the CRF program. Those two together, oversee all the clients at Cornerstone and this is their behaviour... think about that for a second. This is exactly why i will never feel safe going back. If these bullies are mocking other people behind their back, who knows what they're saying about me.

Air conditioned, clean, decent, healthy food, 14-day stay permission with possibility of extension if you meet certain requirements (have to be house hunting, must submit 75% of income)

Jillian should be ashamed of herself for how she treats the guys in the shelter. so condescending and rude and its obvious you dont want to be there anymore. I've stayed at cornerstone various times over the yrs when i'm in need and the difference in her behaviour from say 4 or 5 yrs ago to now is scary. Jill you need to take a good look at yourself in the mirror and be reminded of why you entered this job to start with...to HELP people. You dont help anyone, your behaviour in the shelter to clients is appalling.

How are people giving this place less than 5 stars. Ive stayed there twice when i was kicked out they give you a bed, 3 meals a day, a shower, toothbrush and toothpaste all for free so you dont freeze to death or get eaten by raccoons in the rough streets of Oshawa.

The new housing worker Louise is awful.... too busy playing on her phone, taking snapchat pics and chatting it up with the other staff instead of HELPING people and doing your job like you're SUPPOSED to.... I miss the old housing worker Sherriece, why did she have to go :(
