The staff and volunteers (Linda, John and many more of them) have been very friendly, helpful and are ready to give you their professional advice and their own life experience advice. They do a difficult job on very limited resources with compassion and caring. They have helped me in many aspects of my life without judgment. I was embarrassed to go the first time having supported myself for many years but only want to help, all you have to do is ask. They have many things to offer in regards to helping people and if they can't help with a specific need or a more complex life matter they will get in contact with another services association on your behalf and all free of charge. They aren't their to be abused by talking advantage of them, they are simply there to help you and support you so that you can get back to supporting yourself. They helped me with food, job interview advice, got me a job search coach, use of their computers, printing resumes, contacted Conestoga College associate's, bus tickets and use of their telephone all free of charge and they offer much more. I don't know what I would have done without them. All you have to do is ask.
