Staff is unfriendly and often rude and speak to you like there is nothing feminine about you, almost as though you are less of a lady.... You can tell by how they speak to you that they do not care about your feelings at all. They often speak to you like they hate you... Secondly my roommate is abusive. The staff has been notified twice... Lastly I am a lesbian which makes everything soo much worse.....And to any woman that is a sexual minority; it's the "scarey monotone-speaking loud girls" working here that leaves you feeling assaulted after they speak to you. Some staff acts aggressive and like speed walks past you while stomping their feet .. Its almost like the staff is mentally ill instead of normal ladies.. A note to any future residents; if the staff speaks to you in a way that makes you uncomfortable or with a tone of voice that suggests they are not speaking to you like your gender - you can go to the Human Rights Commission... Also even if your roommates are abusive , they try forcing you into your room at 11:30pm on weekdays. The common areas are off limits at this time and you are not allowed to do anything . if you want to talk on the phone you must lock yourself in the bathroom to not be harassed and forced back to your room by staff. Even then they follow you to the bathroom. If your roommate snores badly and makes noises that keeps you awake all night that is soo gross it makes you want to throw up, then your only two options are to either throw up in your room or maybe the bathroom but even then they will force you back in your room after... Some of the staff here are over controlling , almost as though they are getting off on it and patrol the hallways like foot soldiers...

It is a great place for women, hameless, in abusive relationships, and down on their luck. I would suggest this place for any woman in need as the first priority in getting good professional and caring support from great women who work there to improve the life's of battered, abused and homeless women!
