Pretty amazing resurrection of a once dilapitated building. Beautiful inside and out, host to many important events in out arts community

My family hosted my Dads Celebration of Life here, and the venue is beautiful. They set up the tables very nicely, and had everything ready when we showed up. Unfortunately when we went to use the mic it wasn't working. The ladies really tried to fix it, but to no avail. Luckily the people making the speeches have loud voices. The only other suggestion I would make is in respect to the drinks (Gibson Centre handles drinks and we had an outside company do food). It was a very warm day, and there was plenty of coffee and tea, but for 120 guests, i felt that the amount of cold drinks set out was lacking quite a bit. It also wasn't replenished, we had to ask quite a few times for the pop and waters to be refilled. I would suggest maybe large pitchers of water in the future so that there is plenty for all the guests, especially in such hot weather. Thank you for a wonderful venue though :)

We gather here every Sunday to have our church service we are called Faith Community Church we track with the Meeting house out of Oshawa. This is a great place for young families to introduce their children to Jesus.

We were married at The Gibson Centre in 2015. We cannot put in words how beautiful the day was. Our guests were blown away by the beauty of this hidden gem of a venue. People still tell us about how awesome the place was. It's the perfect blend of old and new and we LOVED that it had a downtown loft feel with the exposed brick and beams without the hassle and high cost of a Toronto venue. Trish, the venue coordinator was so incredibly helpful and so kind. She answered our many many questions promptly and helped us above and beyond! We highly recommend the Gibson Centre as an event venue!
