Excellent KOA with beautiful sunrise & sunsets that can be seen from nearly every camping spot! Appreciated the friendly customer service received & staff escort to camp site. All staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and personable. The pool was open which was nice surprise, especially on weekend following Labor Day. We spent 2 days kayaking around the island, strolling nature trail, searching island to find best RV site (so many great sites it was hard to narrow down to a favorite space). We toured the Conference Center, activity center, visited camp store and captured many beautiful pictures from shores of the island. There are great amenities like personal escort to camp sites, trash is picked up daily from each site, there's small but nice marina. Definitely planning to return to Association Island in 2019.

One of the best KOA spots ever ! We spent 4 days there and had a wonderful time. All of the staff were great & friendly and most helpful on all levels. The grounds were clean and well kept and our spot B-17 was great across from the marina & view of the seaway. Rest rooms spotless and attended to daily. Pool clean good seating for a lot of guests, we never had an issue with chairs while there even during the busy time of the day.

The actual ground are very nice. Beautiful views, it's clean etc. However, the staff drives around on golf carts looking like military police, and rather than politely asking you to fix issues they may have with you, they will just fine you over small, picky things and be very aggressive about it. Or, kick you out. It's shocking. I heard a lot of other campers over the weekend saying they won't be coming back. I felt a lot of tension between other campers and the staff. My weekend wasn't ruined by any means, I still had a good time, but I just find it disturbing how this staff treats their customers. And if you review on the facebook page, they will just respond saying to basically get over the changes and that they "support their staff". While it is important that a business support their staff, a business is also responsible for fixing blatant issues, responding to criticism by learning from their own mistakes and modifying rules and not being so aggressive, and SUPPORTING THE CUSTOMERS WHO PAY YOU, AND YOUR STAFF! If you truly support your staff, you will support your campers too. Or you will lose a lot of business-which from what I hear, this camp is in for a huge wake up call. Thank you for a good weekend, and I very much hope you starting listening to your customers rather than talking back to them.
