I went as a guest passenger for one of their members and loved the place! Everyone there was incredibly friendly and I felt like I had been a long time member of the club despite it being my first time ever on the field! Wonderful facilities, large amount of gliders, and great people. Giving some very serious consideration to getting my glider license and joining here some day now! Thanks for the warm welcome on my visit.

You will probably wait 4-5 hours for an Intro flight. Weekends do not run as advertised they are very much only concerned with members and their flights. They're is only *one* glider for intros and at times it was used for members. We were 3rd in line and waited 5 hours before the glider was even available. I paid $200 dollars to waste a Sunday waiting outside. If you want the experience I suggest finding another service. The members are all very nice, it is just a shame it is so disorganized.

Bought 5 flight pkg. (which they only give yiu 30 days to use!) Got to club at 9:30 am. Was about 4th on the list to fly. Then they switched and put us on the instructor list. People who came after us fly before us. At 1:20 pm I asked the guy in charge how much longer. He said "well hopefully you get to go today!!" He said 3 people ahead of us still.... they are short on instructors. Maybe 3 hrs if we are lucky. We drove 2 hrs to sit 4 hrs to be told we may not get a turn - yet they doing lots of "introductory" flights with 2 people in each glider. We should wait another 3 hrs and hopefully we will get to go!! Very frustrating. I realize they are all volunteers, but there has to be someone who can devise a system they can follow that is more organized than what we saw today!!! Then we were told "well try again another day". No thanks. Our time is more valuable than driving 2 hrs to sit 4 to 7 more hrs in hopes of actually getting to fly.

Big sense of community in this club. I was invited by a member and was very welcomed. Everyone pitches in for maintaining the grounds and equipment. Made for a very great day.
