They have a meal every Thursday for supper. It is a good meal. Dinner from 5:00 to 7:00. Every 2nd Thursday is fish. They alternate the off weeks with ham, chicken and beef.

Absolutely disgusted with the way this Legion Branch has treated a long time member and Veteran John Johnston. As a Veteran myself, I know the sacrifice that he made and the hero he is. This particular branch has taken a "privileged" attitude towards the needs of his surviving family and treated them like absolute garbage. It is well know that some legions will not even serve current RCAF personnel unless they have a membership, which is actually not required to be served. I guess a lot of the "old-guard" attitude still prevails at this legion branch and its privileged Directors. I feel an apology is not enough to repair the damage they have already done. At the very least, a complaint to Legion Command is in order so as to not let this happen again. If the facts ring true then the Treasurer needs to be booted out of the position. You don't deserve the honour of serving in your position with an attitude like that.

Father in law was a loyal member. Always a great meal on Friday nights! Best popcorn around and the atmosphere is fantastic! Thanks Port Dover Legion.
