I was given a personal interview regarding the society, and was thoroughly impressed with the amount of detail, care, and specificity the organization had. Each individual that wants to know any information regarding potential dementia for themselves or other individuals in their lives are free to enter without pressure or stigma. Trained professional counselors from many backgrounds (nursing, psychology, etc.) will be happy to assist with any aspect regarding taking care of/functioning with any dementia type disorders. They also have several programs they run that help individuals get more stimulation mentally and physically, along with interesting fundraisers that involve the community. The only aspect that I see that could be improved is social marketing as many individuals in the community are unaware of how prevalent dementias are, and how likely they could be to develop one. Spreading the word about this amazing service is crucial.

I received a call from the Society and as my husband's disease progresses,. I was promised help but I am not receiving any help for myself as promised. I never know what is going to happen to him from day to the next. I don't know how to cope with his constant questions repeated. His moods and constant change of mind. I feel like I am going crazy at times. Could someone please help?
