Masjid Abu Bakr....amazing place where you can find peace and tranquility. Anyone who really wants to find peace of mind and contentment of heart come to the Masjid and pray to our Creator, the Almighty

So I have been here twice and I don't think I will be coming back, the outside of the mosque looks very nice and respectable, clean and well maintained however the area in which it is located is not ideal it's very difficult with all the traffic to attend. However that is not my issue as other mosques have similar problems. The women's area is very small, and the main women who according to other women are always there and are very judgmental they give dirty looks to those who aren't there in an abaya and act almost as though they are LOOKING for a reason to shame you, they tell women "you're praying wrong" "you should be praying at this time not this time" etc. -- it's good for the Muslim community to be there for others and help, give advice etc. However if someone is praying in the right way but it's not EXACTLY the way you do you shouldn't shame her and say "oh you're doing everything wrong but Allah is forgiving maybe he'll forgive you for not praying right". I came here because this is the closest mosque to me however I will have to travel further away because they do the ENTIRE khutbah in URDU, this is an English speaking country and not everyone speaks Urdu and I find it completely unfair and totally unprofessional and unislamic to exclude people from a khutbah that is being given. Canada is a county known for it's diversity and Islam is a religion that Preaches inclusivity and yet, They say the entire khutbah in urdu and then when they are done and are asking for MONEY that's when they suddenly start speaking English. I just didn't find the atmosphere welcoming or inclusive and I will be sure to find a mosque that offers me that

Praise the Lord, who created the heavens and the earth. This masjid is beautiful from the inside and out. May Allah bless the management for keeping it in top shape.
