My wife and I had a great visit earlier this spring, staying a week at Spencer Spit SP. Thanks to the Chamber of Commerce for having free showers available in the village. A great idea for building goodwill. The village has everything you need and nothing more, perfect size. A store, restaurant, gift shops, gas and a great Saturday Market. It was great visiting Friday Harbor on San Juan Island but we were so happy to return to Lopez Island at the end of the day. :-)

We came here before beginning out bike trip around the island. The employee gave us a map and recommended routes for us. She also gave us restaurant recommendations. I can't imagine beginning a day trip of Lopez Island without first consulting the workers here.
