I wanted to leave a review of Habitat handyman service and don't see a place so this is the closest. I used them in the summer of 2017 because it's for a good cause. I had them fix my backyard fence and replace a garage entry door. On both jobs there were issues as in the final price being higher than the estimate and there being problems with the job. I needed more new fence pickets than originally told and have actually since noticed nails missing that should have been put in. Older salvagable boards were reversed so the worn bottom is now at the top and the whole fence is bowing. You can see it was done quickly. I am going to need more repair and spent almost $1000. They had already had to come back right after to replace an obviously broken board. There also was a huge gap left at the bottom of the used garage entry door installed which i flagged and the workman said he assumed i wanted that? I don't know why I would want snow blowing into my garage under the door. A sweep was added to close it up and I was charged more than originally quoted. I am sure some workers are good but be really specific about what you request and watch carefully if you use this service.

Lots of things are priced at or above other retail outlets nearby. Hit and miss. Bought plumbing fixtures that were only party there(incomplete) twice and it ended up costing me more to fix it and replace the part missing or broken. Some things are cheaper but be wary that it may end up costing you to "save" money. They're receiving department closes too early.

A lot of junk and lots of overpriced items. Can get cheaper at Rona or Home Depot. But lots of people think they are getting a deal, OK

Good place to find "one of's" Lots of tile if you only need a couple of pieces for a job, windows, sinks, and doors as well. I still think alot of it is over priced. But it goes for a good cause.
