As the city likes to print out little booklets about how they have revamped the neighborhoods in the area. I have to totally disagree with them . You can not fix a neighborhood with a bandaid. So as the jasper gates neighborhood bandaid is or has fallen off the people in the next neighborhood- 2 blocks away, I know..not very far. They are suffering the same fate and effects of their sister community. Candy Cane Lane IS NOT WHAT IT ONCE WAS. I in no way mean any offense to the people that live on the street .for I just last year help my Mother and sister move right off of the main attraction. There is good people whom live there. Yet I am really thankful that my children are over 18 now because I would never take them down the street on Halloween. The city has to actually stop building around the mess and fix the issues on hand.

Not as good as it's been in the past. It's like some of the home owners just don't care like they used to. Some places were fabulous!! Some places might as well have done nothing... it's like they "had" to do something so they just threw some thing up, while others painstakingly created beautiful works of art. THANKS TO THOSE THAT WORKED SO HARD TO CREATE WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL THINGS FOR ALL TO ENJOY!! May God richly bless each and every one of you for years of hard work!!

Not at all what it used to be. Barely no one puts out there displays anymore. I was so excited to go because it had been so long and I was extremely disappointed.

A classic Edmonton Christmas event! The quality and quantity of the Christmas light displays vary over the years but it is always worth a visit. In a world of commercialized Christmas events, it's great to appreciate the hard work put in by individual families to decorate their own homes. Also nice of the city and community to set up fire places, provide hot beverages, sleigh rides and collection bins for the Edmonton Food Bank. Only issue I have is that the amount of idling cars waiting and driving the street take away from the experience on busy nights. Wish they would set aside an hour or two a night for pedestrian and horse traffic only!

Lovely to view. Hectic with people, but a great walkable event with the kids.
