Usually busy here on any evening that has nice weather. However, there's still plenty of space to run the stairs at your own pace or whatever exercises you would like to do. It is a nice walk down from the neighborhood to the Fort Edmonton Bridge. Dogs also enjoy the stairs. There are 200 stairs. (Someone else counted, not me, but I thank them).

Although the climb will kill you, the view it SO worth it! This is hands down my favourite trail in Edmonton for that reason entirely. I highly recommend viewing it during all seasons to fully take in nature’s beauty. Aside from the gorgeous view, the stair case is huge therefore if you want a great workout, wolf willow is your best friend. There are certain “sections” of the staircase that are steeper than others so you can take it easier or do the full death work out. Also, if you are out of shape like me (Lol) you can always take a break as there are landings throughout the walk up. Another thing to add with the beauty aspect is that the rocks leading into the creek right by the bridge at the bottom of the staircase, completely reminds me of being in the mountains. I feel like I am not in Edmonton at all!

Super cool find. It is quite hidden away but a wonderful place to get some exercise and see some nice visit views. There are some mosquitos to contend with though.

Amazing. Need to bring bikes next time for the great trails connecting different hiking trails on both sides of the river. Enjoy the 200 steps :)

It’s an okay place! It’s a little confusing to get there and always very crowded with people! The view from the top is very scenic and beautiful but it’s hard to really capture the moment with people going by up and down. There’s better scenic places in Edmonton that are also less busy.
