Tow Jack is a cold lake. The beach is rocky. The water is a beautiful green colour. The day use area is popular and well maintained. There is an upper and lower parking lot with spots right on the beach that are popular with kayak and SUP users for easy unloading. We were there in late July and it was busy even at dinner time. Bring some water shoes and it would be a great little beach.

Nice lake with cool clean mountain water! Easy kayaking! Or other water activities! Pretty safe lake to have fun. Not too big and there is a canal to the south that will take you under an iron bridge where schools of trout seemed to congregate.

Great area to spend the day. It has a few picnic benches around and you have access to the water where you can bring your kayak or canoe. Dog friendly area, restrooms on site.

Such a beautiful place to relax with your family and friends. I recommend going in the middle of the week in the morning because it can get quite busy during the weekends with tourists. There are a few picnic tables and a bathroom as well as 2 parking lots. All round beautiful place for kayaking, paddle boarding and a picnic!

Very nice spot. There are gabage cans that you can use to put your garbage. Please use them.
