This is a great place to get started in Breckenridge! It has a free museum about the history of Breckenridge. Learn fun facts about this historic mining town such as the argument over who the town was named after! Watch a video documentary with even more information if you like, or go upstairs and look out at the beautiful views from the observation deck! Downstairs in the gift shop, you can pick up a beautiful souvenir tote for just one dollar! Before you go, don't forget to get all the information you need about all there is to see in Breckenridge.

This place is a must stop at the beginning of your Breckenridge trip. There is a pay to park behind it, for which the pricing is reasonable. It is right in the middle of main street. There are bathrooms downstairs which are easily accessible and have a water bottle fill up station outside. Upstairs there is a small gift shop with a help desk. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is lots of information about things to do in Breckenridge, including a map with historical landmarks on the back. Very glad we stopped here.

I really enjoyed this afternoon in Breckenridge. I roamed around town and had a fabulous dinner at Michael's Italian, which was highly recommended to me. I then drove up to the ski resort and the views were spectacular.

Had a great experience at the Welcome Center! I come out to Breckenridge every year, this year wanted to try some activities besides just the usual skiing. They were so helpful and offered me some great tips. Alyse was gracious enough to walk me around Main St and point out some shops & restaurants I should try that I hadn’t been in the past! Had my best trip yet. Thank you Alyse & all welcome center staff!
