Great reward for such little labour! It is a short and long easy walk to the viewing platform from parking and there is a great view of the fall. There is trail to go further up and closer to the fall for anyone ready to put in more efforts. Our groups consisted of two toddlers and one senior, so we just enjoyed it from the viewing platform.

Great sight, with water gushing down a steep slope of a height of about 200 meters. The steep hill leading up to the base of the water fall is a moderately difficult but interesting climb. Loved the serenity of the environment that is only disturbed by the eerie sound of the water racing down the slope.

Well worth the stop! We stopped on a whim after seeing the roadside sign. The sign at the parking lot says a 15 minute walk, but it was much shorter though. Very steep gravel path so I would recommend shoes.

This was an awesome experience to see this waterfall. I'm 44, i've seen a lot of BC waterfalls, and have hiked up many little trails to see the waterfall at the end... i'm pretty jaded. When my wife suggested that we should detour off the highway to see the waterfall, I was less than excited. But WOW. you need to go see this waterfall. It was extremely pretty and you can climb up pretty high to be right next to the fall. really impressed and has left a lasting memory of seeing it with my daughter

Beautiful falls, named aptly for its likeness to a bride's veil. I wouldn't call it much of a hike, myself, but I suppose if you aren't into hiking it could be considered a small one. You do not need hiking shoes, and you could probably get away with wearing sandals on the trail up to the falls. I wore converse. There is a small sectioned off area meant for viewing, but many people climb past and a bit farther up to get a better look. I would have climb right to the base of the falls if it didnt start pouring rain right as I arrived!
