Stopped here during a camping trip on one of the many Cultus Lake campgrounds, this park was very spacious and well covered by large trees. The park is easily accessible from Columbia Valley Road; which is a great winding road to drive along the lake. The bay itself is nice and parking is easy because of the 3 large lots; there are geese present in the area so be mindful of them as well when visiting. Overall a nice spot to relax!

This campground is the only at Cultus if you want any semblance of a peaceful stay. There is not as much ambient noise here. No highway noise if you go deeper into the park and lake noise is muted as well because you are at the far end of the lake. It can be very calm and peaceful here. A beautiful beach although incredibly crowded (on weekends) is just a few minutes away. Of course there is no getting away from the noisy "DJ Hero" crowd in the campground during peak time. The park operator does a good job of looking after things and this park has the newest and least used washrooms in the park. Happy Camping!

Beautiful campground. Great location. Close to the beach. It's great that there are on site washrooms and park officers that regularly do rounds to keep it up and they really enforce the noise bylaw. It's quiet time at 10pm. The lots are all a good size. My only issue is that the showers here have extremely low water pressure. And if your a woman it makes washing your hair extremely difficult. Also the water is freezing. Everytime I have attempted to shower it's only cold water. Unless it's warm in the early morning and everyone else was able to have one. Otherwise it's a great campground.

A great place to spend a hot day with a large group of friends or family. Bring swimming trunks and a towel as you will want to take a dip at some point. There is plenty of shade from natural growth and lots of sun by the waterline so bring a few folding chairs and pick a spot. Stay hydrated and have fun. Lots to see and do or just relax. *** Be ready to get stuck in traffic and struggle for finding parking on the weekends! Especially long weekends.

Review for the day use area. Area is well groomed and lots of tables for picnicking. Small jetty for swimming and fishing which is great. My exception for the park area is the boat launch area and parking. The boat launch is location further along the park access road well past all day use parking area. A big problem is the boat launch parking is only for vehicles with trailers only. Canoeist, kayakers, etc. can launch from the boat launch, but are force to drive back and park in the day use area. With signage stating that vehicles without a trailer are subject to being towed. So walking back to the boat launch area after parking in the day use area is simply too far away.
