Had a great trip! The captain got us right to the whales, kept a respectful distance but was well placed- an orca came to check us out, only a few feet away. We saw seals, sea lions and eagles as well. The guide was great- she knew her stuff, was eager, and engaging. Definitely worth it!

So in July of this year (2018) me and my wife took a great trip with this whale watching company and didn't regret! It was amazing experience, the weather was perfect, stuff was very professional - both our guide and captain (unfortunately don't remember their names). We were out about 2 hours and maybe little more, and were pretty lucky to see 3 or 4 families of orcas (Killer whales)! This was our first experience of whale watching, and happy that we were so lucky to see them. I will attach also some of my shots (I'm a photographer myself) which I did due to this amazing experience! P.S. 1 important note. guys please have with you some extra cash money for tips for those great guys out there.. unfortunately we didn't have any kind of cash with us and I feel so bad not to tip our stuff! They really deserve it! Captain was trying to follow orcas as much as he can, to be as close as it's permitted! Thanks a lot for great memories...

We saw killer whales! They didn't kill us... It was a long trip but all the botes came to the same spot. It was nice to have extra information from the naturalist :)

Absolutely fantastic tour, the boat ride was really fun, we had a choppy day so the ride was pretty bouncy which was loads of fun. We saw 2 types of whale - humpback and orcas which were amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The trip lasted 5 hours which was longer than average. It worth it to see the whales.

Although our boat allowed us to see plenty of orcas, I was so dismayed by one aspect of the trip that I am writing a review. At the end of the trip, as we were heading back to harbour, PLASTIC water bottles were passed around. I am amazed that a company that is supposedly dedicated to marine wildlife preservation could be promoting the use of plastic water bottles. Perhaps change this to paper cups and a refillable source of water?? On a lesser note, the guide always called the orcas 'whales' (not 'killer whales') although they are members of the dolphin family. It would have been nice for the guide to acknowledge the Coast Salish people's use of Steveston and the ocean, and to show some knowledge of local geography - eg: UBC instead of 'that peninsula'. If I were to go again I would do more thorough research on each company's own environmental footprint before choosing which to use.
