This place is so beautiful, has breathtaking views. The staffs and tour guides were so friendly. The bus ride on the glacier was quite a experience for us. My kids loved it. Even from the highway, we can get great view of this glaciers.

Just experiencing the custom built buses is almost worth the price of admission. Our driver was great although it's somewhat disconcerting to have a 20 year old driving a vehicle that large. The staff was all professional and very well trained. The tour's went very well the staff was very clear and very knowledgeable. Listen to the instructions. Make sure you have the right clothes. It almost felt like it wasn't enough time out on the glacier but to be fair I could have stayed out most of the day. For the kids the timing was perfect as even though it was a warm day it wasn't very warm on the glacier. Keep your stuff compact so that you can enjoy the area that they roped off for everyone to explore. Make sure you bring a water bottle because they let you collect water.

Got the ultimate explorer package. One of the most incredible experiences and definitely worth seeing. The tour starts at the chalet where you park your cars. When you go inside the chalet, you get your tickets checked and proceed to the buses. The buses are large and spacious. They drive about eight minutes to another stop as to get to the glacier, you have to get into the ice explorer bus. Our guide Emma was Amazing. She was funny, knowledgable and interactive. She drove the ice explorer to the glacier on the mountain while telling us facts about the glacier and pointing out cool view points. The glacier is so beautiful. You have about twenty minutes to look around and take pictures. I think twenty minutes was a bit rushed and thirty minutes would have been perfect. There is a certain area that you have to stay within because some areas of ice are not that thick. There is even glacier water that you can drink. The water is so fresh and pure. It was not that cold, but we were told it could get cold as the winds come and go. It is suspected that this glacier will not be here in the next 50 to 100 years. Beautiful site to see and experience. Some the pics I posted do not do the glacier justice. Must see the real thing. Recommend it to all that are going to Alberta.

You can park across the street and walk for free, but that is a bit dangerous. The contained walking area is basically groomed which doesn't feel like walking on a glacier. Bring your own meals unless you want mid range dining prices around people in shorts and sweaters and food that's acceptable but not phenomenal. The included skywalk is nice, but I rushed through it because I was hungry. The ice tour takes just over an hour and is well choreographed. The engineering that went into the buses and skywalk is notable. The views are great, but frankly do bring food, or book a tour for just after you eat lunch, being hungry made the experience significantly less enjoyable.

IF YOU LIKE SPENDING YOUR MONEY GETTING YELLED AT, GETTING THE DEATH STARE BY EMPLOYEES, BEING RUSHED WHEN IN THE TRUCK THEN BY ALL MEANS, COME TO COLUMBIA ICEFIELD GLACIER ADVENTURE!!!!!!!!!!!! (IT DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!) No doubt, the view here in Jasper is breathtaking. However, people here ruins the experience. I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY EMPLOYEES HERE, OR ANY KIND OF HUMAN BEINGS WOULD TREAT OTHER HUMANS LIKE TRASH. When I was on the tour up on the glaciers, my bus was being rushed. I don't know if it's cause my bus were full of non-white people but the other bus that was full of caucasians were able to stay on top of the mountains longer. How that seem fair to you???? The employees at the gift shop were the WORST. So many bad things had happened. One of it was when I made a payment, the 2 cashiers gave me a death stare. I asked for another bag, the one with handles as I am a traveler and it would be more convenient to carry my purchased items. Would you believe the employee was short tempered from my request and shoved my items in the bag and threw the bag on the counter????? U N B E L I E V A B L E!!!!! So folks, in conclusion, the employees here clearly does not know how to treat their customers right. The ignorance lead to a VERY poor customer service. I'm 100% sure that I will NOT come back here in the future. My experience here at Columbia Icefield Glacier Adventure was purely a waste of time and money and I'm 100% sure that I will NOT come back here in the future. I will also let my friends, family, co-workers know about my experience. Yes, I would recommend to everyone to come to this place if they enjoy feeling discriminated and treated poorly by employees. I would give a 5 star for that. If you read my review all the way to the bottom, I appreciate your time. I know it's lengthy. Thank you.
