Very scenic, interesting site. You can walk all the way up but the drive up is beautiful as well. Many features to experience here and learn about the "signal" process they used/invented back in the day. Definitely worth a visit if you're visiting St John's.....

Beautiful historic location. You haven't explored St John's without a trip to Signal Hill. Seasonally (Summer) you can go inside the tower and check out the souvenirs. There are numerous walking trails at the base of the Hill and atop it. The sights are truly breathtaking. Overlooking St John's harbour you can see the bulk of the city and watch any boats coming to and fro.

Great historical site. There are great trails in the area. Wonderful views of St John's and the Alantic Ocean. It is a great place to take night pictures of the city as well. There is a lot of history in this area to learn about and explore. This site is located at the entrance to St John's harbor so you can see boats and ship's coming and going through the narrow canal.

Views cannot be beat, even on a cloudy, wet day (although, when the rain became too heavy, there was little to be seen). Marconi exhibit in the tower is small, but informative. Visitor center part way up the hill has a larger exhibit, with many artifacts and detailed history of Signal Hill, plus a 20 minute video that is well done. (Small fee for the visitor center exhibit/film; top of the hill and Marconi exhibit are no charge.)

Great views of St John's, the harbour, the narrow, and the Atlantic. Various degrees of difficulty hiking trails so options for all. Washrooms at the visitor centre but not up at the Cabot tower. You can spend hours hiking the trails or just whip up for a quick view! A must visit if visiting St John's!
