We went over today to see the tidal bore. The observation platform (built on the remains of a former railroad bridge) gave us an excellent view of the bore entering the river. There were 2 lovely ladies who gave us an informative talk on the bore, the river and surrounding interests. It is essential to check on the website for the times of the talk and the bore as this changes daily. I was very surprised by the speed of the bore as it travelled up the river however it was 20 minutes later than predicted. There are a few picnic tables and a small information building (with toilets) however not much else so do take refreshments. The entire experience was free as it is subsidised which was a pleasant surprise.

Interesting museum and information center. At every swing to high tide, visitors can walk out onto a pier over the water and watch the tide come in. Don't expect a wave, but the museum guide explains to all what we're seeing and why the Fundy tide is unique. We got to see a few bald eagles during our hour's visit and were glad we went.

Quite amazing actually. One of the staff, Linda, did a real good job of explaining history of the area and how tidal bore works. We asked for a recommendation where to have lunch and we were not disappointed.

Neat to see. Not as dramatic as expected although that could just be me. I believe there are other areas that are said to be more exciting with more of a wave. If you are in the area it is worth the stop.

Very friendly and informative employees. Love seeing the old structures and pictures of how the bridge originally looked. It's a bonus the interpretive center is airconditioned!!
