While the hours are a little limited, if you’ve got younger kids this is well worth the stop. Volunteer run and pay what you can.

This is an amazing place to visit, especially with young kids. Admission is by donation and the rides are free, so the little ones can ride till they drop. The scale model engines are all unique and quite intricate in the case of the steam engine which is actually steam powered. Be sure to check the website as they only open to the public a few days per year.

It is free, they ask for donations, the staff are great there. A perfect place for a family day outing. They have picnic tables so grab a picnic and go. Enjoy the train rides
