The story of Oak Island's "Money Pit" begins over a hundred years ago and the Interpretive Center tells a comprehensive story. A self-guided tour through the building can catch you up and fill in any gaps you didn't already know. Faithful viewers of the TV show will enjoy the many cases of curated artifacts from the island and items which have been brought up from excavation in each of the digging sites. Non-viewers have plenty to read and view to get into the adventurous spirit. There are empty cases and improvements being made to the Interpretive Center, so it can only get more interesting. There is a small gift shop for those Must Have items. Tours of the island are separate and must be booked in advance, though this entire tour season (2018) sold out in the first 3 hours they first went on sale. Fear not, there is an Oak Island boat tour available from another vendor which is well worth booking. Ask for their card at the Interpretive Center.

Not a ton of stuff to see here. You can read a bit about the history of oak Island and see various tools and stuff used in excavation. Unless you book a tour well in advance (was first introduced this year so it was sold out for months apparently) I don't see much of a point in coming here other than to say you stepped foot on oak Island. As soon as you cross the small land bridge over to the island, there's a parking lot, and the interpretive center. Everything else is blocked off as the entire island is private property. If you get a chance to do a tour I think it'd be 100% worth it as it looks fantastic.

Up the tech and display quality to cross promote the show. Host a special Q&A with a Lagina brother. Make it worth it. I've been watching the show since the first season. I feel like parts of the show have been dragged out; the Interpretive Center feels the same way. Interesting observation: the show makes Oak Island seem isolated but it isn't. There are tours available. It's located along the shore nestled between cute towns. There were no less than 75 cars in the parking lot when we went to the Interpretive Center, located at the entrance of the island. You can't go any further unless you're on a tour. The woman at the front desk was really nice and hinted about a major discovery but wouldn't go any further. Boo.

What a wonderful place for fans of the show and to learn the history of the island. We were impressed that it was free admission and the promo souvenirs were high quality and reasonably priced. Our son was fortunate to meet a few of the guys and they were genuinely interested in chatting with him and sharing their theories. We hope they have a successful year and get some answers to the mystery.

Nice little museum. Tour was fully booked when we were there. You have to book well in advance to get a guided tour .
