This is a beautiful tourist attraction. The moose is huge and a great place to take some pictures. There is access to the beach which makes for a nice walk. My wife and I enjoyed watching the surfers. We were greeted by a few dogs which were playing on the beach. My wife was thrilled to see the dogs. A great place to go.

I love this iconic giant roadside attraction. A must-see! Great for the young and the old. A shared use path allows access to a sandy beach, too!

This used to be a great spot. Not sure how a home owner has the land title to the only access point to Silver Sands Beach. What should be a provincial park. Sad really. The beach is great otherwise.

They have a small beach in back that seems to not be very busy, making it a nice hangout spot. However there's some really weird things afoot as you go down the path to the beach. There are building materials with half completed renovations everywhere. There is also passive-agressive signage strewn about. I believe the property technically belongs to a private owner but that they were perhaps forced to make a path down to the beach. I don't know what's going on between them, the city, and perhaps a few of the visitors to that spot. If you look past the drama though, quaint little spot :)

I remember going there as a kid. The moose is big & very cool. They have some picnic tables there. Great view of the beach.
