Very nice view! I work as a concierge in downtown and one of the biggest pro-tips for you travellers is to make sure that you pay attention to whether or not you can see the north shore mountains on your way to grouse. If you don't see if from the city, the view from above will most likely look just the same--cloudy and grey. But if the weather is nice, it's beautiful up there. I thought it was very cool that the eye of the wind adjusts itself based on the direction of the wind as well. Very cool spot.

Spectacular views from The Observatory and even more breath-taking from the 'Eye of the Wind'. On top of the observatory, you can either hike up further to the 'Eye of the Wind' or you can take the chair-lift (different prices). We took the package and the easy way out. :-) Peak Chairlift, Birds in Motion Demonstration, World Famous Lumberjack Show, Grizzly Bear Habitat and many more. They have a coffee shop and a gift shop to sit down and enjoy. They have Tandem para-glide, heli-tours, zip-lines, and many more. I am looking forward to my trip next year to do the para-glide.

This is a cool spot. On a good day you can see Mount Rainier. Most days the conditions don't allow that. Sadly, when we were there, the smoke from the fires limited even seeing Vancouver. The cost to go to the top of the wind turbine for viewing is $14 regardless of conditions. They should adjust the cost on the weather and visibility. We were there on a $2 weather day, so the $14 would have been a bad deal and we decided not to go. Everything else on the mountain is really cool though. From the birds of prey show and bear exhibit, to the five zip lines, there is much to do.

Beautiful view of Vancouver! There are good hikes that start on top of Grouse Mountain. Watching the grizzly bears is always fascinating for kids. Also their lumberjack show is funny and exciting! It can be very busy on weekends during tourist season.

You have to addition $15 to on the eye of the wind. You can buy the tickets at the entrance. it is money well spent, as the views are stunning. When I visited with family there were hardly anyone there and I had the while place to ourselves. If you stay up there long enough you may experience the rotation of the while wind mill itself ( not the blades)!!!
