This is a wonderful place to go and relax and hang out at the waterfront. If you hang out inside there are tables surrounding the glass windows overlooking the lake. You can watch the boats and freighters going along the lake. You can walk the River Walk, fish, enjoy the farmers market, participate in special events, enjoy food and snacks from the deli inside, or just enjoy the air conditioning. Outside to Center you can get premium ice cream and ice cream snacks, and fresh cut fries during the summer months. This is a nice place for everyone to enjoy.

It's nice to have a place to be near the water and watch the ships. Also have a place to buy something to eat and drink and enjoy your day.

Nice place to watch freighters go by and listen to the details of the boat and load. Comfortable tables inside the building and nice picnic tables outside. Wonderful historic display inside.

They have a little coffee shop were you can buy coffee, baked goods, and snacks. The museum is very interesting with lots of maritime history and some artifacts. The building overlooks the water. Free to the public.

Great place to watch the passing freighters. If you have any questions about freighters just ask the volunteers there. They are a world of knowledge.
