Great place for a family walk. Good picture taking spots and lots and lots of history about the castle and the 1000 islands. Its good to plan a trip for the whole day that way you have time to see everything. Boats leave every half hour ftom the docks so if you have to go then you only have a 30min wait. 2 levels of finished work 3rd level is unfinished but a good view of Alexandria Bay. The basement is pretty cool lots of twists and turns, pretty fun over all if your looking for a good day trip.

I love this place. Inspiring that Boldt built this place first then built the castle. It's huge and the castle is even bigger. History at it's finest. You need to see both.

They have done a lot of Renovations on that castle and it is absolutely beautiful. There's so many things to see there. We even took a ride over to the boat house which was beautiful also. I would recommend going to this place for sure.

This place screams beautiful, all the old history and characteristics of the buildings are extremely original and very relaxing. The staff are very knowledgeable of the yacht house as well as the castle and even the surrounding Islands. They are very personable and easy to talk to. Although the second floor of the yacht house is under construction to revitalize and reconstruct what it would have looked like back in the 18 + 1900 it was still very cool to see I recommend taking their shuttle over. This was a great experience and I will definitely go back again!!

I loved seeing the all wooden boats that they used to drive. The outboard motors from way back in time. You can't get to park there, but w/ a bit of $$, you can get a shuttle boat from Boldt Castle docks to go there.
