I love this park. It's a great place to take a nice walk or just sit and watch the activity on the water. I like to take a picnic lunch and watch the freighters come in from Lake Huron. The Blue Water Bridge and Canada are right there and cool to watch. It is a drive for me but I make it up there a few times each summer. Perfect place to chill.

I have not been under the bridge in about 18 years. Today, I was so delighted to see the restoration and walkway the city has placed. What a gorgeous park. It was my vacation today...drove 1.5 hours to get to it and just take in the beautiful blue water. So well worth it. Lightship Huron I had seen before, and the prices were a little high for a tour...but fun to see on the walkway if you just want to get up close. The Blue Water Bridge is a beauty!

All you smell is people smoking. Place is filled with local people spitting on the sidewalks, fishermen leaving hooks and fish entrails EVERYWHERE, and a bunch of vehicles with missing body panels and 5 different colors all filled with drugged out addicts. The center lot with the lighthouse is filled with people loitering at vehicles doing burnouts and peeling out of the parking lots! Police? What police?? None in the area. Take mace and protection when visiting. Looks like a nice place.. but is far from it

Whether you're looking to fish for walleye, perch or catfish or just just looking to relax with a great view, this is a good place to be. Take the boardwalk up under the bridge or head toward downtown. You will be greeted by friendly fishermen and people watching the big freighters go by. The river is bright blue and beautiful. I used to love coming here as a kid with my Uncle and smelt dipping.

This is a great river park for walking, running, relaxing and fishing. Dogs are allowed. The area is clean and safe. There's benches to rest on and watch boats or ships go by. The art is really cool too. The Blue Water Bridge is quite a sight to see. Also, you can see our neighbors in Canada.
