Touristy but fun. The walk to the top is tough. The view is well worth the $1 admission and walk. Lots of things to buy in the gift shop. This is a must see in St. Ignace. You can see miles and miles of Pure Michigan from the top. You can even see the Mighty Mac in the distance. Mackinaw island looks peaceful and beautiful in Lake Huron. Visit. You will be glad you did.

I bought a really cool sweatshirt in the gift shop at the end of our U.P. trip. I got home and realized it didn't fit. I contacted Margaret on the phone and we worked it out for an exchange. I received my exchanged cool sweatshirt yesterday, and it's SO soft and comfy! I love it! Thank you Margaret! It will be a family tradition to stop at Castle Rock!!!

Very cheap entrance, only $1. Many stairs to climb but a nice overlook of the Lakes and Mackinac Island. You also see the interstate below🙂 There is a small gift shop with inexpensive gifts. Easy access off interstate. Staff seemed nice.

Nice place! Really easy off and on to the expresswsy. Tourist attraction that only costs $1. Fantastic views! There are a lot of steps and i figure that's an awesome workout especially on your way home after a too relaxing vacation.

Walk up those 100 something stairs is quite the workout, but once you're up top.. an Amazing View!! Its $1 to climb up, and beautiful to see! Definitely recommend stopping on your way by.
