Fast, efficient way to get from Michigan to Ontario. There are no amenities on board. Cars are standing so close to one another that you can't open the door. However, the journey only takes a few minutes. Price was okay ($8/car, regardless how many people are in it). Prices are quoted in $ Cdn. US$ are exchanged on a 1:1 basis. So bring enough Canadian money or you lose 30% in the exchange. Customs clearance took less than 3 minutes. Ferry employees and border officials were friendly.

This is a beautiful way to get across to the States. The staff on the ferry are always welcoming and friendly. Great place to cross and beat the traffic in at the Windsor crossings. Great shopping about 30 mins straight drive (after you turn left when you exit customs.

Quick trip across the river. Ferry is convenient and the custom agents are very professional. Good alternatives to the blue water bridge.

Very quick and smooth operation. I've rode across a couple times now and the employees were very helpful and polite. Only a couple more dollars than the bridges, but such a better experience it's worth it.

We took this ferry across to Canada, just for the experience. It only cost $8 to transport your car across the lake. It was a fun experience.
