I have been to this place twice. The first time many years ago was a sunny afternoon, and we could see at any time a dozen belugas popping out at the mouth of the fjord. More recently, it was a cloudy and windy afternoon, and we did not see whales. The spot is beautiful regardless, and a very nice Observation Center has been built since we first visited. Parking may be a challenge during busy hours in summer. A must stop before crossing the Saguenay Fjord on ferry, and a worthwhile trip if visiting Quebec City.

This is a very nice place by the river to see Tadoussac across from it. The ferry is also very close by, so you can see them going back and forth. Apparently this is a really good place to see the sunset. However it was a little cloudy when we were there but the view was still great. Didn't spot any whales 🐋 either but apparently they can be seen from there.

Probably the windiest place I have been to or maybe it was the day I went. But bring a jacket just in case even if its 35°C. Nice little location with amazing views on the rivers. Unfortunately I stayed 1h and did not see any belugas.

Nice place to see whales and seals without having to go out on a boat cruise.
