Park in the Last Castor lot. Walk a short distance down the gravel road and then follow a dirt road on the left. The trail will take you by a couple of beaver lodges and then comes back out on the gravel road after about 1/4 mile, It is mostly level with some roots and could be muddy after rain. You can walk back to parking, or cross to a smaller gravel road that leads to another pond and a small stream. We started out on a guided tour offered by the park. On Sunday and Thursday, the tour was supposed to be in French and English, however, our guide only did French saying it would take too long to do both languages. So we struck out on our own. We didn't see any beavers, just a few ducks. I would give it 4*, except for the uncooperative park tour guide.

Great place to see beavers but they are mostly out only in the early morning or late evening.

J'ai pas tout compris. Aucune explication. On marche sur une route fermée. Aucun panneaux d'explication.
