I've only just discovered this after all these years of working in the area. Amazing restaurant for health and tasty too! Great breakfast and lunch spot. Price is amazing as well. Staff are polite and helpful. Can't go wrong with this place.

Had breakfast here for the first time today. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. I had ordered a breakfast sandwich with a lot of toppings (I forgot the name of it), a giant coffee and perfectly crispy home fries. It was just over $14 which is a little on the expensive side for me. The portion was good not too big, not too small.

I wanted to like this place. I don't understand the rave reviews. Went there for my first time today. Ordered a grilled cheese (without the greens) and the daily soup which is advertised as $8 for the combo. They proceeded to try to charge me $1 extra for the chicken soup instead of the lentil soup because the price of the chicken soup is $1 more. If you're going to do this don't do this ad hoc. Put it in the pricing that the meat soup is an additional $1. Don't make it up on the fly. And, my analytical mind here has to make the following comment: your menu advertises that the combo comes with 3/4 of a daily soup. So if I'm only getting 3/4 of the daily soup you should tell me that the chicken soup is $0.75 more. I'm a math wiz. Oh and BTW, do I get a discount for ordering my grilled cheese without the wilted greens baked inside? Nope. On to the food. The lentil soup was actually quite good (out of principal I refused to pay more for the chicken soup) but the grilled cheese was a disappointment: cold. Processed cheese. Ummmm hello. You advertise yourself as a healthy restaurant and you're putting processed cheese in my $5 grilled cheese? Gross. Speaking of gross, the ketchup was at least 1 year beyond the expiry date. Including the ketchup at a different table. All crusty on top and tasted off. As the sole diner in the restaurant (there was one delivery order pickup during my stay), I needed to amuse myself somehow so I was watching the lady behind the cash register make a salad with her bare hands. The salad greens must have been pretty gross because she spent a good five minutes inspecting each piece of lettuce and discarding the ones that didn't make the cut. Did I mention this was all done with her bare hands? Lastly, please get some ventilation in the restaurant. You will walkout smelling like you've been grilling paninis all day. I'm sorry for the long and not so pleasant review. I'm not one to write a review unless I'm thoroughly disappointed. I wonder if all of the rave reviews on here are from friends and family and or from diners who were given an incentive to write an artificially glowing review. Like the artificially glowing cheese in my grilled cheese. Sorry guys. Two thumbs down except for the lentil soup. You have the potential to do better. Please do better.
