I booked an appointment with Dr. Harrison for an eye exam after all the rave reviews on Targets website. I have been shopping, and loving Target for many many years as most people have and been to the optical department in another state which I was pleased with. The exam started off ok. I explained that I had recently been given a prescription with a stigmatism ( which I have never had before) That left me feeling dizzy and off balance to the point I tripped and fell. I told her that I had had my last prescription for years and had no problems with my old prescription, I just needed a new script as my old one expired and I needed new contacts lens. She proceeds to give me a prescription with a stigmatism but does not tell me and I leave target. So I had to return, wait and question why she basically had given me the same prescription I told her didn’t work for me. She was not happy and defensive. I was rushed through the exam, and she obviously had not listened to me at all. I have never had an exam like this before. My old eye doctor asked lots of questions and took her time to make sure I had the right prescription. I tried to post a review on Targets website which you can not do. I should have questioned why there were 65, five star reviews and no way to post one myself. They must be fake reviews if there is no way to post one yourself. Needless to say I do not recommend Dr.Harrison for an eye exam.

Very nice staff. I haven't found long lines at all. They happily readjust my glasses at no cost time after time.

My experience at the Gig Harbor Target Optical Department was simply great! Dr. Harrison and her team (Katie and Brynne) are amazing, sweet and nice. I had a blood vessel pop/break in my eye and they got me in right away. Everyone made me feel so at ease as I was really nervous that it was something very bad. Thankfully it wasn't. When I'm ready for new glasses I will be back. If you need new glasses, contact lenses or just an eye exam and you want to be treated like family this is the place to go. Thanks so much for everything and taking such good care of me.
