Great people and great location. The lady at the front (I think her name was Mayra) got me set up quickly even though I had never been there before. The doctor was quick and explained what was going on throughout the process. I got my prescription about 2-3 days after my appointment. This neighborhood is full of optical shops but I chose this one because seems like the cleanest and most modern. Plus it is close to the J, M, Z train so it was easy for me to get to.👍🏼

If I had the option of give this establishment a minus 1..... I would. My husband had a scheduled appointment for 1:00 pm. We arrived 15 minute earlier. This place is a mad house, no customer service. When I asked for an approximate wait time, I was told the wait was 3-4 hours. Ridiculous. They treat the community like cattle. If you like waiting for hours then this place is for you. Otherwise, find a professional Optical with excellent customer service. Never again. Shame on you New York Optical.

Stay clear from MAYRA By far the worst place to go for anything!!!! To start of the wait is about 2 hours long ! Than i see a doctor who tell me i have glaucoma just to charge me $50 more on a fundus photo which my covarge covers !!! Scammers i tell you, before you walk in this place after the many warnings not to check ur coverage make sure what they’re saying is true! I could not stress this more stay clear from MAYRA shes a rude sales lady who after i said i wasnt intrested in spending too much money she sucked her teeth and walked away. Much for costumer service Scammer sales And iffy doctors Stay away !!!!
