UPDATE: I finally got my eyeglasses today, September 8. But it’s the worst glasses I’ve ever had. The right lens is magnifying everything more than it should. Every rectangles are showing as trapezoid. I will return this pair of glasses next weekend. ——————————————————— I had been trying different doctors here. I’ve never been to any optometrist before. The first optometrist I had was Dr Deborah Chew. She s nice. However, the glasses they made gave me headache. I gave up on this pair of glasses. I gave this doctor another try the following year and mentioned that the initial glasses gave me headache. She said it was because it’s my first time. The second visit didn’t produce a comfortable glasses either. The following year I went to see Dr Brian Gin. The glasses he prescribed gave me severe headache. The headache is so severe that I had to undergo MRI and the result came back as negative. I went back to tell the optician of the issue with my glasses. The optician found that instead of adding 0.5 to each lenses, the doctor added 1.0 to one side. They replaced my glasses with the correct adjustment. The doctor apologized for his mistake. I decided to see him again the following year, after all, it was just an honest mistake. The glasses they issued that year was still giving me headache. I tested my then 4 year old glasses and they feel comfortable. This year I went to see another doctor. I didn’t get her name. I told her my past experience with the previous doctors. I paid my glasses in full on August 11, 2018, however, as of September 5, 2018 I haven’t received the glasses. I’ll wait for another month and ask for refund if they don’t have my glasses by then. After years of putting up with this optometry, I will never return there.

I really like the doctor I first saw: Dr Nguyen, she was able to answer all my questions, I am an attorney. I have plenty. Haha! HOWEVER, when I took my mother to get her exam (I decided to pick my glasses then), Dr. Gin came out with her was mocking her heavy Indian accent, by talking like her!!! I was absolutely disgusted!!!!!!!!! I was completely irate, and voiced it to the optician who helped me, she says that he is known to do that and not to be offended. Come to find out he is a PARTNER! Good luck with the bigotry at this office. Will never be coming back. Disgusted.

Dr. Chew has been taking care of my crazy eyes since I was at least eight years old. Which means for the past (eh-hem) 32 years, I’ve been receiving amazingly thorough eye health care through all the things that have come up! Staff is great!

UPDATE to the review below: My husband went and had his glasses that he got in Sept/Oct checked as he's had low grade headaches over the past months. The prescription (like mine) is wrong and the focal points/measurements on the lenses are also off. We won't be back. The 2 pair we got for our daughter won't be used. We had her stop using them. We wasted our and our insurance money and are going elsewhere this year. I waited to actually draft this post to try to be as objective as possible. Our family tried this Optometrist group twice 2016 and again in 2017. The staff is friendly, they have a large selection of glasses, and facility is nice and welcoming. Both times, however, while the 1st visit with the exam and ordering the glasses seemed to go well (we ordered several pairs of glasses each time), the follow-up was poor. We had to call in most of the cases to try to get the glasses. Communications about why there were delays varied depending on who you spoke to. " The lab broke the frames, they didn't pass inspection when we received them so we sent them back" were 2 common ones. No dates for when glasses would come in, no return phone calls when you asked for status (the majority of the time) This fall we ordered 8 pairs of glasses on 9/1/2017. Of the 3 pairs for me, the first was available on 9/20 (which I found out when I called) and the other 2 were not. I took the 1st pair back mid October as I couldn't properly see distances. To get to see them, I had to call and show up at the office to talk to someone in person. They did reexamine me at no cost and then reorder the glasses. In mid-October 1 of the remaining 2 pairs of glasses was available but not the 3rd. The remade 1st pair of glasses was ready late November (again I had to call and follow up by showing up in the office to get this to happen). Then the last 2 paid of glasses, made with the new prescription were ready on 12/2 (3 months after my initial visit on 9/1 where all 3 pairs of glasses were paid in full). Of the final 2, one pair, a pair of sunglasses didn't fit my head (the distance temple to temple was so large it didn't feel like the pair I tried on in September). The technician bent the glasses at the nose piece and handed them back, but they sat on my face strangely with 3 of the staff telling me they were what I ordered and they were made correctly. I wore them for 2 hours while running errands and then took them back. I quietly asked for the office manager so I could return this 3rd pair, get my money back and have the insurance money refunded and was told the manager wasn't there but would call me the following day. They didn't call me, but I called them at the end of that following day. He did handle the refund and insurance quickly and followed up with me as I would have expected. Hopefully, as with any operation, my situation will help them identify any communications or lab issues and make changes. We're not likely to try them again as this past year's experience cost me personally a lot of time including work time.

I went to them for my regular eye check-up. They have done all the tests thoroughly and suggested me all the required things. The receptionist and doctors were very good and friendly. I love this clinic.
