I was diagnosed with Kerataconus over twenty years ago and for the majority of that time I really struggled to get contact lenses which fit well, improved my vision and were comfortable. When I first visited Elaine a couple of years ago I was quite depressed about my long term prognosis. Since seeing Elaine I can honestly say the improvement in my vision and comfort has been outstanding. Elaine fitted me with piggy back lenses which have been a revelation. I would encourage anyone with kerataconus to see Elaine, she is a true expert in what she does.

When I visited Elaine, I could not see much out of my left eye, after a few visits I could see again. I can't pay her anymore of a testament than this. P.s Elaine is great to be around, extremely positive, goes the extra mile and takes alot of pride in her work.

I have been seeing Elaine Lucas for almost a year and have had great results with my vision during this time. I suffer from keratoconus for a number of years and my eye sight has been getting worse.. Upon consultation, Elaine prescribed me with scleral lenses .These lenses are much more comfortable than the normal hard lenses I have been wearing . Although they are very difficult to put in your eyes in the beginning , I am pleased to say that these lenses have worked very well for me. Not only are they comfortable and durable, but they have vastly improved my eyesight. I was very pleased that I now can see much better previously .I was finding it difficult to drive and can now do it comfortably. Thank you V Much Elaine .

Having struggled with the joys of middle age, long sightedness, a touch of short sightedness and getting to the point where I needed glasses all the time, Elaine persuaded me to do something I never thought I could do. Wear contact lenses. My experience with Elaine was one I would like to share with everyone, she is professional, patient and extremely understanding - even to a high maintenance patient like myself! We tried out a few different types of lenses until finally finding the ones that worked just perfectly for me. I have now been wearing lenses for 3 years, I could not live without them, and had it not been for Elaine, I would still be juggling glasses. I have recommended her to friends, some of whom have been told that for various reasons they couldn't wear lenses, Elaine has found a solution for all of them.

Born with an eye condition known as Achromatopsia, my younger sister and myself have spent the most part of our lives wearing tinted glasses (to tackle the photophobia) with a very high prescription for extreme shortsightedness. Only last year we had the pleasure of meeting Elaine who fitted us with our very first pair of contact lenses each. Not only have they helped us to deal with the shortsightedness, but we now no longer need to wear dark tinted glasses as this can now be incorporated into the lenses too! Elaine has been fantastic with us both and has truly made life so much easier for us! Not only is she friendly and approachable, she's also professional, extremely efficient, easily contactable and clearly has a passion for the work she does. I also noticed that she's always in the know and stays informed of new developments within her field which is always helpful. I'd recommend her to anybody without hesitation. Thank you for making such a big change in our lives Elaine, we'll be forever grateful! 😊
