During a weekend break in London I lost a screw from my glasses. Thankyou to the lovely gentleman who put in a new screw and tightened the other one, with no charge! Excellent service! Donation given to their charity box instead. Many thanks.

Walked in off the street today on a weekend break and received amazing service. Not only was Rachel fast, efficient and knowledgable but also extremely friendly. I am somebody that isn’t at ease with intrusive medical inspections but she did it in such a way that made me feel both reassured and not panic. She sent me on my way with good advice and peace of mind. Amazing service in the middle of one of London’s busiest areas and all for free. Definitely five stars! Samara.

The optometrist didn't seem to know what she was doing... She first said I didn't need glasses, seeming to ignore my astigmatism. She then tested a few lenses on me, all were so blurry I couldn't read the chart at all. When I said they were blurry and seem worse than uncorrected vision she said my eyes will get used to it. I went to a different optometrist and they tested the prescription on me and it was so completely wrong they were laughing at how inept boots was.

Not impressed at all with the service - the actual optomitrists are lovely, but the staff over the phone are rude and unhelpful, to the point that I was thinking for them. "Attitude" isnt the best aptitude for good customer relations - the front staff will lose business for the professionals who have studied hard to be in their roles. Needs to have a shake up with customer service, the only reason I have given 2 stars is due to the Optomitrists - otherwise zero starts would be more appropriate!

I walked in off the street without an appointment as I was concerned I had a recurrence of an eye ulcer. The opticians were all busy but they found space to see me within a metter of minutes and put my mind at rest. Everyone was helpful, friendly and very professional. I could not have asked for more and am really appreciative.
