I am visiting London briefly from Australia and my brand new glasses had broken just before I departed. With an express service promised in five days (including a weekend) the young women went beyond the call of duty to ensure they were ready before we left London for an extended holiday. There was a hitch when the lab had a problem and I understand one of the girls pressured them frequently. They were in contact with me with updates and the glasses arrived on time. While the most expensive lenses I have ever purchased (4 in a month!) I could not be more delighted with the quality of the product and high level of service.

I have worn contact lenses for over forty years and have had many experiences, both good and bad, with opticians. I visited the Optical Studio recently for the first time, for a thorough eye examination and was delighted by the excellence of their optometrist and the advice and care he took. I was also relieved that he listened to my concerns about the health of my eyes and adapted my prescription accordingly and we agreed an ongoing plan to ensure the best care for my eyes and my general health. As an established independent company all the staff I met offered the very best advice and were friendly and only too willing to be helpful. The Optical Studio is absolutely the best optician I have been to and I can recommend them wholeheartedly.

I have been a client of The Optical Studio for several years, and it was with their encouragement that I started to use contact lenses, after being told by a large brand opticians that I was 'probably not going to get on with them' as I was a 'mature' person. The Studio have been incredibly patient with me, as I have tried several different types of lenses as my prescription needs have changed. They are always happy to try new things with me, and the eye tests with Carmelo have always been very thorough. They certainly know their stuff, and advised me to seek immediate attention at an eye hospital when a potential problem was spotted, which, thankfully, came to nothing. Yes, you would probably pay less for your needs at a big brand opticians, but for me it is worth every penny for a very professional caring service with a smile.

A customer of many years, I can't recommend the Optical Studio highly enough. They have excellent choices of frames and good advice about both lenses and contact lenses. Their eye tests are also very thorough so travel many miles to use them!
