I'm new to wearing glasses and wasn't quite comfortable with the "Advanced" progressive lenses I got from the Selfridges branch after 3 weeks of wearing. I went into the Canary Wharf (Jubilee) branch and found the staff very helpful/professional and they made a suggestion to upgrade the lenses to "Superior" which I did. Came less than 2 weeks later and they fitted the new lenses in 5 minutes. I'm really happy with the new lenses as they have a wider clarity (what DC call "HD ULTRA WIDE" ) when reading so making it much more comfortable to work.

Tried quoting me over £250 for rayban replacement lenses. The sunglasses are only £150 brand new 😂

I have been a customer of David Clulow for many years, both at this store and one in Moorgate. In that time I've mostly found them to be okay, with a couple of minor mishaps along the way which I was prepared to tolerate (no-one is perfect!). There's a decent range of glasses to choose from and you can usually get an eye test appointment within a day or two. The staff always seem to be changing and their customer service has been variable. I've had both very good advice on a new pair of glasses, and on another occasion no helpful guidance at all. A recent mistake has been badly handled however, and I think my patronage here is over. The mistake was, again, minor (my prescription was transcribed incorrectly) but the way it was handled by the staff at this branch just compounded the issue: I got excuses, deflection, blaming of others and administrative errors in processing what was needed to remedy the situation.

Originally went here because it was close to work but found their testing and customer service to be so good I still go back even though I work in the West end. Much better than other well known optitions.

They looked after me so well. Six months ago I moved to Rome. While I’m making great strides in learning the language when I lost my spectacles, I panicked. I am not yet ready to have an eye test or buy in Rome. I called David Clulow and they immediately said they could make and send my old glasses to me in Rome. Wow! A week later they arrived. Even better, they noted that they had a special offer on and when I came back to London I could pop in the store and choose a second pair at half price. Their communication and support was exemplary!
