Dr. Chong is knowledgeable, caring and patient. Her exam is comprehensive and detailed and she takes the time to listen to your concerns! An amazing doctor! Thank you Yorkdale optometry and Dr. Chong!

Made an appointment for 11:15am, appointments are supposed to be 45min. I was starting work at 12pm and had asked if I'd be out on time when I arrived, the first receptionist said I'd be fine. I was on time, and at 11:23am they tell me "Oh, you may be late to work, as there's others before you" etc. So I asked "so, about 15-20min maybe?" they said yes, which was fine. But a few minutes later the other receptionist says I'll probably be much later, possibly an hour late to work. And from how they were talking it seems like they were hoping I'd just forfeit my appointment and leave. The waiting area was full and there was another woman complaining about the wait time as well once she heard what they were telling me. WHATS THE POINT OF MAKING AN APPOINTMENT IF I HAVE TO WAIT IN EXCESS OF THE SCHEDULED TIME? This isn't a walk-in clinic, yet they seem to operate like one with their "scheduling" it seems. I'd expect more for service in regards to my medical care, for an affiliate of LensCrafters, for an office in "prestigious" Yorkdale Mall, and especially since they charge $120 for the exam when most other optometrist charge less than $90. I wasn't seen by the doctor until 12:01pm, and was an hour late to work. Keep in mind I work in the mall (Yorkdale) which is why I came here in the first place. The doctor was very nice and knowledgable but otherwise I'm not happy with how this all went. People have lives and obligations to get to, waiting this long for an eye exam is ridiculous. Only go here if you have nothing else going afterwards. I was able to write this review as I sat in the waiting area. Next time I'll be going elsewhere
