I took the Medical Aesthetics program here (Bolton location) after dropping out of the Aesthetics program at Body Pro in Brampton. The comparison is drastic. CBC has small class sizes, capped at 10 students. The modules are structured in a way that allows you to focus your mental energies on absorbing one thing at a time, which I found was a much better way to learn. The teachers were great, and I learned everything I needed to be confident when applying for jobs. Upon finding my first job in the field, I was chosen over a student who completed her training at Body Pro, and they told me this was from a clear difference in the quality of training we both received. That was when I truly knew I made a good decision with CBC.

The make up certificate is an introductory course which teaches us beauty and bridal make up only. It is a great way to gain skills in make up artistry for those just starting off and for people who want to focus on beauty make up only. I took the Make Up Diploma Program which is much more intense and it is for people like me that want to be a full time Make Up Artist. We learned everything in the world of make up artistry: beauty, bridal, era make up, fashion, black and white and colour photography, fantasy, theatre, and special effects. I was so pleased that the admissions staff member explained the difference to me between the certificate and the Diploma and that I took the Diploma course as it suited what I wanted to learn to become a Make Up Artist.

I took the Makeup Artistry program (10-week part time) at Canadian Beauty College and it was a very basic program in regards to makeup styles. Personally I felt thought as if it was an introduction to makeup, taught just the basic looks (smokey eye, bridal, fantasy, etc) and didn't really get into it as much as I would like to. Our teacher also didn't really tell us if what we did needed improvement on what look we did and if there was something that could be changed, she'd do it for us. I'm now currently enrolled at Humber College for Cosmetic Management, which yes is a business program, but our 3 makeup classes we have are much more in depth, better explained and more personable. I feel like the Makeup Artistry program at CBC was an introduction and like I wouldn't be able to go into the field with that knowledge gained there.

I have visited the Bolton Canadian Beauty College many times, for both beauty treatments and also Zerona Laser Fat reduction treatments. The staff and students are always so friendly and professional and the services are even better than I have received at many high priced beauty spa!!! The staff and students take extra special care of each client and the results are amazing! I have had microdermabraision, manicure, pedicures, chemical peels, laser hair removal and also Zerona Fat reduction treatments at the college and I have been thrilled with the results!!! I have lost 27 inches of fat around my abdomen which has been the most difficult place for me to lose the fat, and also lost fat around my hips, face, upper arms and thighs! All without dieting, pain or exercise!!! And the results could be seen after only 3 treatments!! After the chemical peel and microdermabraision my complexion has never looked better and I am still hair free 4 months after having my last laser hair removal session! If you are going to high priced spas and salons, you're CRAZY!!! YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE CANADIAN BEAUTY COLLEGE IN BOLTON!! You won't regret it! I don't often write reviews of businesses I have visited but I am so so happy with the staff, students and spa services, I just had to share with everyone so they can go and see for themselves!
