Excellent service, excellent selection. Don surely is “the occulist”. We went to upwards of 10 shop searching for frames to no avail - walked in and Don went on a search for frames. Within minutes we had it narrowed down - he truly has an eye for what works for the person. I cannot provide any higher praise for the service provided.

The Store Owner was very friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable in his field. He can also give you a good 2nd opinion as to which frame suits your face as he did for me. Overall this is a good store if you're looking for a quality unique pair or Japanese-made glasses and don't want to support the overpriced brands. I didn't find the pair that I was 100% satisfied with but I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for a new pair, even if you don't buy anything the owner will give you insight and wisdom as to what pair would suit you best! Thanks Shawn

I've purchased my last four pairs of glasses from here and I'll always come back. My wife has had her last three pairs and my daughter her last two pairs. Go in with an open mind and let them throw frames on you. Every time he's decided what he's put on my face is the best look for me I'm someone hesitant, usually because the look is more bold than I'd usually have the guts for. But I warm up and buy them and then love them and always seem to get a lot of complements. It's not an enormous store so the selection isn't as wide as a LensCrafters or the like, but I take that as a positive. I don't like sifting through hundreds of frames with someone who just wants to sell me some glasses and move on. Also, they're not the low-end frame prices, either. But, in my opinion, for something I'm wearing all day, every day, I want to be happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!

Don Wong, the owner (and more often than not, the employee on shift) has been in the business for 20 years, 10 of which have been as the owner of this store, and at this location. He does a great job of carrying unique frames that are hard to find anywhere else. Both my girlfriend and I both have recently shopped around for frames and both of us ended up buying at the Occulist. Great customer service, far beyond what you would expect anywhere else. Very enjoyable experience, thanks Don!

I have been going to the Occulist for the past seven years at least (the last three pairs of frames). The selection is excellent and the service outstanding. Don knows exactly the pair of glasses for me - I don't even have to look through the store - his first recommendation is always spot on! My wife loves the service and products here too. Best in town.
