I had a great experience at Optical City in Edmonton! This was my first time getting prescription glasses, and I’m really happy with my reading glasses. The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and patient—they made the whole process easy and comfortable for me. They also took the time to explain everything clearly, which I really appreciated. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for quality service and great eyewear!

I was her customer for 4 years but she humiliated and yelled at me and my family so badly in front of a lot people, just because I asked her why she charged me more than what we agreed when I picked up my glasses... My family was in the middle of eye exams. She yelled cancel everything, cancel my glasses and their appointments ,etc just cause I asked her why are you charging me more than what we agreed before I did my glasses lenses? Wish I could give a - ⭐ I confused to recommend her to all my family, friends and coworkers... I will try my best to tell everyone I know not to go there anymore!

This was easily one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in years. I came in simply to ask for a price range on Zeiss lenses. I clearly provided all my prescription details, but the staff insisted they must see a printed prescription and refused to give even a rough estimate. Other optical stores (like Capital Vision) have no problem giving a general price range, but the staff here were extremely unhelpful and rigid. When I mentioned that other stores could provide approximate pricing, the staff literally told me: “Then you can go anywhere else.” Unprofessional, unfriendly, and completely lacking basic respect for customers. On top of that, the store showed as open on Google Maps on Remembrance Day, so I made a trip over — only to find the store completely closed. They don’t even bother updating their hours, wasting people’s time. Overall, a terrible experience. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

I've known Doroty for over 10 years. She's an excellent professional with an excellent team of people. I can guarantee it and recommend her to anyone, children, adults... very pleasant and with excellent eyewear designs. Go visit her optician... I highly recommend them.
