It's one of the few places that sells handmade, custom designed, frames. Over the years I've bought 3 pairs of glasses (all custom made). The quality is superb and the level of service and attention to details is amazing.

Bottom Line: Shop here if you want to look the best you possibly could in your new glasses. These are the experts and they have almost no limitations on what they can create you. Edit: Dieter surprised me upon arrival to show me not only the style I requested, but also one that he tweaked and made even better. I could not be happier with how my glasses turned out. What truly made this experience 5/5 is that Dieter really listens to feedback and wants to run the best custom business in BC. After discussing this review he has hired someone to take over website, and social platforms from Strozzi's. Original: Lets set the bar straight if you want to look good in your glasses Strozzi's is the place to go. Nothing is off the shelf and everything is bespoke for you,. This at first can be daunting when you are looking at walls of glasses and Dieter hits you with all of the awesome stuff you can do, but once settled in becomes a great experience. After about 15 minutes in store I had honed in on what I wanted and left to think on it as this was a fact finding mission to see where I felt I need to set my budget. When in the car on the way home I read Strozzi's few google reviews and my decision to buy Strozzi was actually reinforced by Dieters response to a 1 star review where he says something along the lines of "this on your first impression and people are going infer a lot about you in that first 3 seconds of meeting". With that being the case, combined with the fact that you have to use these every day why not get something custom for you? And why not look through quality Nikon lenses? Why not five stars well two reasons: 1. I have not placed my order yet (will be happening soon) so this judgement is not fully complete. 2. It would be really nice if these guys had an active social media to get a better sense of what others are doing so that I could draw from their creations. I would love to follow a Strozzi instagram or facebook page that shows me every time a great pair of glasses leaves the store. This could also be a great sales tool for in store to help cut through all of the options. Adding a simple unique #tag for the frame name could mean that you could search the tag for the frame you like and see what all the other people with that frame have created.

Deiter and his staff are always accommodating and Strozzi's carries some of the best frames I have seen. I only buy my glasses there and am never disappointed. I highly recommend them.

Worst customer service. The employee said it would be $65 to make adjustments to my glasses, but refused to do them when he saw they were Warby Parker. He has some sick vendetta against the brand and takes it out on his customers. Reality check: it’s not Warby Parker stealing your customers, it’s you driving them away. The shop itself seemed nice, however.
