I put 2 reviews here yesterday- don't think they got posted. I got new glasses from Dan at the Bay Optical in Southcenter, Calgary, I had to bring them back twice because of issues with the lenses. Then after about 5 months, the right lens started to shatter along the top of the frame. Do not know yet if this will continue done into my sight. The Hudson Bay will not replace these garbage lenses. They must change the Lab they are using or they will have to close their optical because of the poor quality of these glasses. These guys are the best glasses place around. No muss, No fuss, just go in - get a frame and a lens and in a couple of weeks - bingo glasses that fit and are correct. The prices are the best in town, that I have found. Don't forget to get the cheap insurance that replaces your glasses no questions asked.

I didn't use the optician for my eye test, my experience is based on ordering two pairs of progressive spectacles. I ordered my glasses and was told they would take two to three weeks as the lab was overly busy. So at the three week mark I received a call to inform me that my clear glasses arrived but were returned as the lens was faulty, but wouldn't take too long. A week later I got my glasses so it took FOUR WEEKS ! Two days later my Sunglasses arrived I thought something was odd but put it down to the new prescription the next day I returned them as the left lens wasn't done properly. It is now a day short of FIVE WEEKS waiting for my sunglasses since I ordered them. This is in my opinion totally ridiculous so buyer be warned their prices doesn't warrant the wait !!!
