I cannot speak higher of Joe and his staff and how helpful and customer focused they are when it comes to purchasing glasses. From the moment you enter you are brought into complete focus and his staff are so attentive to your needs and interests. They work around your likes and dislikes always ensuring you leave with what makes you most comfortable and confident. If you haven’t been, you must go experience this store and their staff.

This place makes buying glasses enjoyable. Joe and his staff are very skilled at finding you the right pair of glasses for your face that suit your style. Joe in particular seems to have a sixth sense for fitting frames to faces.

I am a customer of Optic Zone for 5 years and I highly recommend this place. Joe is truly gifted in the sense that he looks at your face and pulls the right frames. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The collection is huge and you definitely need them to find the right frames for you. Prices are reasonable. Post purchase service is good too. Above all, Joe is one of the nicest guy you will ever meet and the entire experience will make you come again.

I’ve reached that age where reading glasses are becoming a necessity. However, I put off buying a pair for well over a year due to anticipation that it was going to be a frustrating, time consuming process. I am the polar opposite of an impulse shopper, and with the countless frame styles and lens options, I envisioned myself endlessly wandering from store to store, trying to find something I would be happy with. However, Optic Zone came highly recommended by a friend who used to work in the industry, so I decided to roll the dice and start there, even though it meant a 45 minute drive in from the ‘burbs. I came on a Saturday, and the small shop was bustling with activity, but I was still seen to surprisingly quickly. The staff was very friendly and professional, and after handing over my prescription, there was a brief chat about what type of lenses I would be needing. “Computer” glasses seemed to make the most sense, so that was sorted out thankfully quickly. But then came the dreaded frame selection! Optic Zone has an amazing selection, and I could have easily spent all day trying on one after the other until I had a mental breakdown. So, I decided to take another gamble and ask for some suggestions. It was completely out of character for me, but I had a good feeling that I wouldn’t be disappointed. Six different frames were selected, and given my likely usage, the merits of their design were clearly described. I was instantly drawn to the style of one of the six, and that was it, the choice was made! I didn’t even risk looking at any others. Moments later, I was walking out the door with a set of glasses on order. I now suddenly had the rest of the afternoon to explore the St. Lawrence Market and other surrounding shops with all this unexpected extra free time. A week later, my glasses were ready and I was back to pick them up. Trying them on for the first time, I instantly marveled at how crystal clear my phone screen was! No more blurry mess. What a revelation! I’ve now been wearing them for about a month, and couldn’t be happier. I’ve received many compliments on the frames, they are very comfortable, and most importantly, reading is no longer a chore. Ninety percent of my job involves reading and writing documents, so this was crucial. In summary, I am very pleased with the service I received, and I would recommend Optic Zone without reservations.

The best. Other places aren't even close. I now drive in from suburbia to see Joe and it's still very much worth the effort. Pop across street to St Laurence market while I wait. Street parking slightly south east.
