Mr. Lam has been helping me with my prescription glasses for 25 years. His store has a great selection of quality frames and lens. If you are looking for a quality product from a gentlemen with 40plus years experience then New World Optical should be on the top of your list.

Best service. Best frames. Best prices. They were able to match the fading tint on the vintage glasses I brought in to get prescription lenses.

New World Optical is a hidden gem with hidden treasure. Awesome styles and a unique selection of designer and non-designer glasses .... Also, excellent service without the sales pressure. The owner has been here for years and he is laid back and extremely knowledgeable! My partner and I happened to walk in after being disappointed with another store, south, on the same block.... Within an hour at New World Optical, we both walked out completely satisfied! He bought a pair of classy, old-school Gucci glasses, and I purchased these unique Italian sunglasses by Persol (photo attached here -- sorry for the duplicates, couldn't figure out where to delete). Six stars ******!!!

This place operates on word of mouth and they are fantastic. They've been in business for 40+ years. The owner goes to Europe every summer to buy frames from reputable eyewear companies. They have an incredible selection of deadstock vintage frames as well as new frames at very reasonable prices. I came in with my own vintage pair needing lenses and because they weren't busy, they were able to give me lenses straight away 10 minutes later. As long as they're in business, I'm never going anywhere else for frames or lenses in this city again.
